Currently, he is a Senior Core Fellow, Institute for Advanced Study, Central European University, where he is involved in preliminary research work with a working title “Africa and the International Criminal Court: Between Cooperation and Antagonism”; is Doctor of Laws (LLD) in Public International Law

  • former adviser to the Nicaragua Permanent Mission to the United Nations and a member of the advisory office of the Chief Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the 1980s; director of farmer training in the agrarian reform& founding director of the Institute for Research and Social Action "Martin Luther King" of the Polytechnic University of Nicaragua (UPOLI).

  • received the International Order of the Tolerance "Mahatma Gandhi", by UNESCO in the year 1996.
